About Us

Who are we?

Allegory Dance Theatre is a professional dance company located in the southern New Jersey/ Philadelphia metro area committed to having a positive impact. Through dance we aim to produce high quality work that connects with audiences. 


Our mission is to create meaningful experiences on our stage, in our rehearsal spaces, and within our community. We continue to educate ourselves and take the necessary action to provide a safe and nurturing environment that not fosters the growth of others but increases accessibility to dance. 


Knowing that dance is for every BODY, we are excited to work with movers of all kinds that are dedicated to personal excellence and building a better art community. We also recognize the incredible benefits that dancing has to offer and share those through our dance for dementia program, Hope Dances.
