Celebrating dance in southern New Jersey for 4 years!

Before COVID hit, like so many performance groups, we had big plans that came to a sudden halt. During the time when only the ghost light filled the stage, we took the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reimagine our future. Guided by our mission, the answer became clear: we would return stronger, with a renewed commitment to showcasing the artistry within our community.

Now, in its 4th year. The Illumination Series continues to shine a light on the incredible talent our area has to offer.

The Illumination Series is an evening of performance art that celebrates movement in its many forms. The series has welcomed dancers and companies from across the East Coast, featuring a rich variety of concert and cultural dance.

At Allegory Dance Theatre, we are dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships both on and off the stage. Our goal is to foster an environment that is nurturing, innovative, and inclusive. Through the Illumination Series and beyond, we look forward to creating more opportunities for dance artists to work, create, and collaborate.
